When a relation breaks, everything else seems falling apart. Your entire life stops at a point and it looks like nothing is positive. But give yourself a break! Try to hang out with more with friends -
True friends are always there for you. So hang out with them. Spend quality time with parents, siblings or anybody else whoever was deprived of your attention when you were very busy in your relationship.
This will not only soothe your soul but also help you understand your own value.
Try some new hobbies and interests -
Take a hobby class. Go for a short trip. Do avoid hobbies that you pursued with your ex and try something new that you always longed for secretly.
This will tell you how many good things you have deprived yourself from when you were in that relation. Music, touring, movies and all sorts of entertainment help in relaxing mind and body and can rejuvenate you.
Change everything around you. From things which were put in your life because they were your ex's favorites, switch over to what you like.
Change the color of your cushions, curtains, bed sheets, windows, walls everything. This will bring tremendous new energy in you. You will see the impact of positive feelings in your new life too.
Change your place -
If you can manage changing your city, town or even colony, that can do a lot to make you more comfortable in living without your ex. Also this will help in avoiding meeting people who had been seeing you both together. To cut somebody out of your life, cut yourself out of his/ her life, circle and atmosphere and give yourself a new life!
DO not plunge into a new relationship just after a breakup -
However, it is never a bad idea to talk with friends more. Try meeting friends of your gender for sometimes. Sometime a bit of fun with your friends make you feel better. Venting out all you pain also does better. Focus on friendship because it is worth millions of relationships.
Do some social service -
If your heart cries and you bring smile to others' faces, this gives more happiness. You may feel you are doing social service to forget your own sorrows but meanwhile you are doing something good for the entire humanity. This will help you easily forget your ex and move on in your life.
